One sizable study indicated that as many as 90% of single women were interested in a man who they believed was taken, while a mere 59% wanted him when told he was a single man. Translated–when single women see an attractive male, they are more interested in him if he is already in a relationship! And if they know him closer, like being the best friend’s husband or boyfriend that makes him even more appealing. Wow, what is causing this phenomenon?

Why do people feel the need to explore other possibilities? Is it because a man who is already taken is more experienced? Is he more desirable because another woman has pre-screened him? With the divorce rate exceeding fifty percent in many countries, you might conclude that a marriage simply will not last – agree?
